Reports to: Digital Team Lead
MLCworks, a full-service marketing agency headquartered in New Orleans, LA, is seeking highly motivated individual for the Digital Marketing Coordinator position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is essential to our project execution. They will be a part of a team that lives, eats, and breathes digital marketing, allowing for the opportunity to gain vast knowledge and hands-on experience to grow within the company. To achieve our client’s goals, candidates should demonstrate the following qualities (or have a burning desire to learn these skills):
- An early adopter of all things online or comfortable with trying new things
- Passion for ALL technology (not just social media)
- Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-up
- Professional attitude, teamwork driven, and a strong work ethic
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the following, but not limited to:
Assisting the Digital Department Leads in performing tasks that will allow the digital department to grow in the following services:
- Strategy: Understanding and assisting in implementing best practices for mobile, website, eCommerce, email, social, SEM, SEO, and user experience architecture design while executing assigned tasks
- Search Engine Optimization: Performing audits, writing metadata, uploading content, performing QA and pulling reporting
- Social Media: Assisting in creating organic posts and stories, managing social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc) accounts, and pulling reporting. Performing competitive analysis and landscape research.
- Search Engine Marketing: Assisting with keyword research, uploading of youtube and display ads, performing account optimizations, performing competitor research, pulling audits, and pulling reporting
- Email Marketing: Draft and test emails for clients, and pull reporting
- Problem Solving Skills necessary – Digital is constantly changing. You will be trained on best practices and have a team of seasoned teammates who will help you, but you will be expected to also be able to critically think through problems and try to solve them (Google will be your best friend!) as you gain experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Even better if it’s in marketing!
- Strong communications and organization skills.
- Ability to work at a faster-than-average pace, and learn quickly, thoroughly, and in detail.
- Have a strong desire and ability to learn while staying ahead of the curve in regard to the latest technologies and practices.
- Must be able to react and adapt to change quickly

As Multimedia Sales Consultant, you are responsible for developing and growing new accounts of small to mid sized businesses in an assigned territory. You will utilize your prospecting and consultative selling skills to identify opportunities to provide Digital marketing and advertising solutions to your current or prospective customers. You will also partner with our internal client management team to support the post sales satisfaction and retention of existing FindLaw customers.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically prospect for new accounts, conduct needs assessments to determine customer needs, generate ideas and proposals, present recommendations, close the sale and set client expectations.
- Analyze clients’ advertising business objectives to prepare creative solutions by using all appropriate products and services to fit the advertisers’ budget and campaign goals.
- Meet with individual clients (monthly) to review schedules, budgets and create new strategies.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of product features and benefits, rates, and packages and explains them in a way to match recommendations to customer needs. Use training resources to become proficient in all advertising solutions and processes.
- New prospect outreach
- Attendance to local networking events and trade shows.
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers via email, phone, and in-person.
- Preparation of presentations and pitches for prospective clients.
- Creating and maintaining client databases and mail lists.
- Tracking submitted proposals and providing feedback to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2 – 4 years B2B online marketing, media sales, or digital marketing experience
- Consultative sales experience utilizing data driven marketing strategies and tactics to deliver on customer needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong networking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
